KOHIMA — The Nagaland Strongman and Fitness Association (NSFA) organised the first edition of the ‘open powerlifting competition’ at Old NST in Kohima on Saturday.

The president of NFSA, Keduovilie Zumu, said the association mainly focuses on strongman games to promote fitness. However, he informed that the association decided to organised powerlifting in order to promote the athletes and give platform to the younger generation keeping in mind the ample opportunities for power lifters at various levels.
