THE Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has sternly warned all the educational institutions, be it Montessori, high schools, colleges or training institutes within Nagaland, against playing with the careers of innocent students for their selfish interest.
A release issued by NSF vice president Joseph Ngouri and general secretary Esther Rhakho said it has been brought to the notice of Federation that there are several schools and institutions in other districts as well which are being run without approval or permission from the competent authority. Therefore, those unrecognized private-run institutes should either obtain necessary approval from the government or immediately close down their institutions, the NSF .
The Federation also cautioned that any institute which does not fulfill the required criteria or guidelines laid down by the department should not be entertained under any condition or circumstances.
It further expressed shock to discover about Blooming Bud Montessori School being run without necessary permission from the School Education department and the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), thereby ruining the careers of the students, should be an eye opener for the Nagas.
While demanding that the headmaster-cum-proprietor of Blooming Bud Montessori School be awarded befitting punishment, the Federation assured to continue to give its best effort for the victimized students for justice and also in rebuilding their academic careers.
It also urged the School Education department and the NBSE to inspect and identify elementary schools and Higher Secondary Schools which are being run without permission or approval, saying that the students are the ultimate losers of such deceitful practices.
