NSF Trophy: Jakhama YO, Sechü Zubza FC and F4C Academy enter next round

KOHIMA — Jakhama YO, Sechü Zubza FC and F4C Academy won their respective matches on the sixth day of the ongoing 24th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy to get through to the next round.

The tournament is being organised by the Angami Students’ Union at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima.

In the first match, Jakhama YO defeated Youngster FC 6-0. The goals scorers were Keduhoto Zao, Vikuto Tase, Keneileho Khatso and Kulse Zhotso (the latter duo netting two each).

Keneileho Khatso was adjudged as player of the match.

In the second match, Sechü Zubza FC outplayed Magdaline CC 4-2. Magdaline CC opened the account and led the game initially after Nosal Pucho and Dupisa Pucho within the opening seven minutes.

But for Sechü Zubza FC, senior Nagaland player Rhitso Mero responded by scoring all the four goals to seal the victory. Rhitso Mero was declared the player of the match.

In the third match of the day, F4C Academy blanked Kigwema Students Union 4-0. Kishore scored the first goal, followed by Thothong twice and Lungin added another goal to complete the score. Paolenmang of F4C Academy was given the honour of player of the match.

9:30 am – Red Scars FC vs Tsiepfutsiepfhe YO

11:30 am – Seithekema FC vs UEFC

1:30 pm – Amateur FC vs New Market FC
