NSF to verify NSEE candidates
Dimapur, Oct. 6 (EMN): Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has announced that it will conduct verification of all the candidates who have been selected to undergo various courses through NSEE 2021 at its office in Kohima from October 6 to the 26th.
NSF informed that the verification would be conducted by its education committee. It, therefore, asked those candidates to come accompanied by parents or guardians. It also asked the candidates to bring along with them recent passport size photographs and original documents comprising HSSLC admit card, Schedule Tribe (ST) certificate and indigenous certificate.
It informed that only candidates, who are Nagas by blood, would be eligible to occupy the seats allotted for the state of Nagaland. This has been necessitated due to past instances of non-indigenous candidates applying for various courses through the state quota, it added.
NSF also stated that selected candidates for the year 2021 failing to verify their documents would be considered as not eligible adding that necessary steps would be initiated against the defaulters.
It further requested all the candidates to strictly comply with the Covid-19 SOPs. Candidates are asked to contact its education secretary on mobile phone no. 8415068696 for further information.
