Kohima, July 20 (EMN): While reiterating earlier stands that a candidate must be an indigenous inhabitant of Nagaland and Naga by blood and not by adoption, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) stated that the indigenous inhabitant and Naga by blood should be thoroughly verified and authenticated against the MBBS selected list Sl. No 5, 8, 19, 25 and 38. In a representation addressed to the Director of Technical Education, the NSF in its charter of demand put forth that the documents of the listed serial numbers should be verified by the competent authority (district administration), and that the result of the above mentioned candidates should be keep in abeyance till proper verification of their document are completed. The Federation also demanded that the students must produce documents of their parents (Father) while verifying their documents. Meanwhile, NSF general secretary, Imtiyapang informed that NSF in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) will be carrying out survey on School Based Statistics in Nagaland (SBSN) in all the GPS, GMS, GHS and GHSS. In this regard, it has appealed to all the village student unions and village education committees to extend support and co-operation to the endeavour. It also informed that the survey will be carried out through a questionnaire to every government schools to collect realistic and accurate data and educational statistics of the schools in the State. The report of the survey, it informed shall further assist in analyzing as a progress report on the performance of every school and monitor the implementation of the various programmes and schemes which are made available to the schools and the students.
