NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy: FIFA, ANTA, Yhome win

Kohima, Oct. 16 (EMN): FIFA FC, All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) and A Yhome FC won their respective matches at the ongoing 21st NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy at IG Stadium on Saturday.

Playing the first match, FIFA blanked Panther FC by 4-0 with the opening goal from Rihesh in the 14th minute followed by his brace in the 36th minute respectively.

 The other two goals were scored by Ngoulal and Benjhonson during the first half of the game to seal the victory for FIFA.

In the second match, ANTA defeated Patrons FC by 5-4 via a tie-break after both sides ended in a goal-less draw during the stipulated alloted time.

A brace from Avilie Tsükrü and a goal each from Keneiguze Pienyü and Vilhoubeituo Yhome was enough for Yhome FC to edge out its opponent Youngsters FC Zhavame to move to the next round.
