Dimapur, Oct 22 (EMN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has appealed to private educational institutions to waive off non-essential components from students fees as part of consideration difficulties caused by the pandemic.

The NSF issued a press release to the media on Thursday, October 22, stating the appeal.

The organisation stated: ‘The Naga Students’ Federation through this press release reiterates our earlier appeal to the proprietors and managements of all private educational institutions to consider the difficulties being faced by parents of the students admitted in their respective institution by extending selective fee waiver to those truly deserving of the same.’

The organisation appealed further to the proprietors and managements of the private educational institutions to work out modalities ‘wherein the non-essential components of the fees are waived off for all the students as the raging pandemic means that the students are not availing those services.’

‘The federation would like to place on record our sincerest appreciation to some of the institutions for boldly coming forward and extending their helping hands in the form of fee waiver and other humanitarian services to the students and teaching community,’ the NSF added.
