NSDMA to conduct mock drill on IT blackout & cyber attack in Kohima

The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) will be conducting a mock drill on IT blackout & cyber attack on June 27 from 11 am onwards in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) will be conducting a mock drill on IT blackout & cyber attack on June 27 from 11 am onwards in the state capital.

The sites earmarked for the IT blackout mock drill are Secretariat conference hall as staging area; the directorate of IT&C, BSNL Office, and SWAN Data Centre as incident sites; SEOC, NSDMA & Cyber Crime Branch, PHQ, as the command control centre. The TSP which does not have an office in Kohima, will set up a makeshift office at the directorate of IT&C, a DIPR report stated.

The mock drill will be conducted in collaboration with Department of Telecommunication, Government of India, Dimapur; Department of IT & Communication; Nagaland Police Telecommunication Organisation; Cyber Crime PHQ, Kohima; National Informatics Centre (NIC); NIELIT, Meriema; BSNL; Bharti Airtel; Reliance JioInfocomm Limited; Vodafone Idea Limited and SymBios Creations Private Limited.
