NSDMA issues weather warning

Dimapur, November 5: Home Department, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has issued a weather warning as per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) cautioning a list of states including neighbouring states of Tripura/ Manipur/ Mizoram of heavy rainfall and cyclonic storm from November 4-6. In this regard, public are requested to keep close watch of the weather condition in the districts keeping the SDRF alert 24x7. All concerned should keep close co-ordination, updating the State Emergency Operation Centre Phone no 1070/ 2291122/ 2291120) on any development in this regard, it said. Although Nagaland is not included in the list of states that has been warned of the extreme weather condition, the letter of caution was issued since it border the cautioned states.
