Dimapur, June 15 : The Deputy Kilonser Finance In-charge Dimapur NSCN (Reformation) T.K Sumi has strongly refuted the news statement ‘Dimapur police apprehends extortionists’ published in various local dailies on June 15 and stated that he had no knowledge about the hand written demand letter and booklets of NSCN/GPRN (R) information slip and that he didn’t know Kawato Aye, who was reportedly a civilian.
In a statement issued by Secretary, MIP NSCN/GPRN(R), Sumi stated that there are so many extortionists coming up in the market by some unscrupulous elements with forged signature and demand slip in the name of the certain revolutionary groups, for which he asked all the business establishments, various agencies, government’s departments and general publics to ascertain from the competent authority before any matter is dealt.
