The NSCN/GPRN has assigned Starson Kilonser, revenue incharge of Southern Nagaland to look into financial transaction in Nagaland for the dues of 2013- 2014 for 3 months w.e.f March to June 2014. ‘His assignment should not proceed beyond June 2014 as NSCN/GPRN is likely to appoint full-fledged finance kilonser from the month of June to deal with entire finance transaction for 2014-15. In a press release, Wangtin Naga Kilonser MIP and Sangso Mongza MIP secretary have requested the business communities and departments to clear all kinds of ‘National Subscribe Taxes Due’ to NSCN/GPRN present finance in charge (Starson). As stated above, all taxes for 2014-15 may kindly be intimated to new finance Kilonser whose appointment may likely come up shortly. Further, the NSCN/GPRN advised all concerned ‘to nullify the previous statement came up in some local paper that, the assignment had been given to some NSCN workers for collection of taxes for the current year 2014-15’.
In a separate release, the NSCN (K) Shepoumaramth Region has announced the appointment of Hriipunii Venei as its chairman ‘who recently rejoined the NSCN after a long gap of 7 years rest on certain reason’. Hence forth, Hriipunii Venei will act as Shepoumaramth region chairman who also should maintained cordial relationship with Shepoumaramth Region national workers, an MIP NSCN/GPRN release stated and advised all Naga national workers under Shepoumaramth Region to co-operate with new chairman in the interest of Shepoumaramth people in particular and Nagas in general.
