In his address, Wangtin said, ‘we are here to proclaim to the world that, we are champion of peace, who retrieved back peaceful atmosphere after SS Khaplang unilaterally pulled out of 14 years old ceasefire with the Government of India without consulting his co-workers.

He said NSCN (R) has created history of peace by forming an organisation on May 18, 2015, basing on the principle of peace.
