Dimapur, May 18 : The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) observed its 1st Foundation Day at its Cease Fire Supervisory Board Office Mon today.
Addressing the gathering at the function, Y. Wangtin Naga, President NSCN (R) stressed on ‘peace and unity’ for the Nagas, which he said is the strongest force to solution. Stating that “We are here to serve and defend the birthright of the Nagas,” Wangtin called upon the Naga people to cooperate with each other and work cohesively for the common cause.
Others who spoke at the programme included presidents of KU, KSU and various leaders from NGOs who attended the function. The programme was chaired by Yato Deputy Home Kilonser and Wanmai Joint Secy. Welcome speech was delivered by Omnyei Konyak Law & Justice Kilonser while the special number was presented by TWTN Band Mon Town. The national prayer was led by Rev. Sheipa Konyak. The programme was well attended by a host of Kilonsers, rank and files from military and civil and well wishers.
