NSCN (R) nullifies renaming of designated camp

Dimapur, March 2 : The NSCN/ GPRN (Reformation) has issued a rejoinder statement regarding the renaming of Tekang camp, published on January 31 in various local dailies. In a pressnote issued by MIP GPRN (R), stated that the change of its designated camp name from Ponghong to Tekang camp will have to be approve only by representative of the ceasefire group of both GoI and NSCN ( R). Therefore, GPRN (R) said till the name has been approved by both the ceasefire group, the article which was published earlier will be remained as ‘null and void’. Till such date, the designated camp will remain as Ponghong designated camp and will continue as official in all matters, added MIP.
