DIMAPUR — The cadres of NSCN (Khango) from western command have recovered an autorickshaw which was allegedly hijacked by some unknown miscreants after assaulting the driver.
The vehicle was recovered from Doyapur road after the cadres were deployed at strategic locations around the town following reports of the incident, according to a press release issued by the MIP of NSCN/GPRN.
The autorickshaw was found plying with the same number plate driven by unknown miscreants, it stated.
“The Naga army after identifying the autorickshaw tried to halt/ intercept, but the autorickshaw fled from the scene. Thereafter, the Naga army chased the autorikshaw towards Doyapur road and the miscreant left the autorickshaw and fled under the cover of darkness,” read the statement.
In this connection, the NSCN (Khango) has asked the rightful owner to claim the autorickshaw within seven days by producing all original documents. Claimants have been asked to contact its official on phone no. 8798066100 for further details.
