Dimapur, December 29

A day after ACAUT Nagaland demanded that the NSCN-K publicly clarify as to why it is engaging in ‘terror activities’, the latter reminded that any instance of NSCN/GPRN member falling prey to the vicious anti-Naga propaganda of ACAUT shall henceforth be treated with utmost seriousness and befitting action shall be initiated in concurrence to treason act. The NSCN-K, in a release on Monday, said the reminder has been issued to ACAUT so that any eventually in the future may be recorder as justified from the perspective of unresolved Indo-Naga-Myanmar political issue.
The ACAUT on Sunday sought clarification from NSCN-K after the arrest of its ‘Capt’ Nagaho Ayemi on charges of hurling a bomb at M/s KT Gas Agency, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur on night of December 22,
The NSCN-K said Nagaho Aye, as pursued by ACAUT, has already been apprehended by security agency in connection to alleged bomb blast at LPG godown in Dimapur.
Stating that it lauds the ‘tenacity and zeal of ACAUT in the said operation in collaboration with Indian security agencies’, the NSCN-K said similarly the ACAUT is also expected to own up any repercussion in the aftermath of such anti-NSCN maneuver.
“It needs to be recorded that as per ACAUT’s memorandum to Narendra Modi, the PM of India during his maiden visit to Nagaland, “ taxation” has been explicitly stated as inter-related to ongoing Indo-Naga political crisis, the ACAUT should therefore be bold enough to acknowledge “taxation” as part and parcel of the struggle and not to be treated as extraordinary criminal offences requiring detention at Tihar jail under NSA,” the outfit pointed out.
The NSCN-K further said ‘the ACAUT also need to answer why each of its member is demanding for state’s first class gazette officer’s remuneration and NL-10 SUV(s) when it is a non-state agency’.
