AYO condemns
The Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) while condemning the incident in strongest terms has appealed to all organisations to do away with factional clashes and not to roam around with arms in public places.
AYO vice president Kekhrievolie Keyho and general secretary Rokoketou Sechü in a release also acknowledged those organisations who complied with AYO request to refrain from firing in public places.
However, it expressed anguish over the recent factional clashes in civilian populated areas of Kohima town, creating fear psychosis among the general public.
The AYO also reiterated its resolution not to cooperate with any organisations who try to disturb the peaceful environment of Kohima town and putting public safety at stake.
