NSCN (K) activist caught from Dimapur

EMN Dimapur, April 1 The Assam Rifles have informed to have apprehended a cadre of the underground group NSCN (K) in Dimapur on Friday. The 32nd Assam Rifles issued a press release on April 1 informing about the catch. Following reports about the presence of a cadre of the NSCN (K) in Burma Camp in Dimapur, troops of the 32nd Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter 6 Sector Assam Rifles and reporesnetatives of the Dimapur police carried out a search operation in the area. “During the search operation, the troops apprehended an individual named Felix Lotha resident of Bhandari village, Wokha district along with two pairs of combat dress and two mobile phones from one of the house in Burma Camp. The individual admitted that he is a civil wing cadre of NSCN (K) and holding the rank of Khapur,” the press release stated. “The apprehendee along with the recovered items was handed over to the Police for further investigation.”
