Dimapur, Feb. 14 (EMN): NSCN (IM) has regretted the presentation on Naga case made by the Nagaland Lok Sabha MP, Tokheho Yepthomi, in the Parliament saying, the ‘historical and political dynamics are missing.’

“The conspicuous failure of Tokheho Yepthomi is noticed when he could not even quote the correct date of the signing of the historic Framework Agreement. Significantly, he used misplaced political terminology like Naga “underground” and “militants,” a NSCN (IM)’s statement issued by MIP stated on Sunday.

It added that his failure to do proper homework left the Naga people seething with righteous anger.

Meanwhile, the NSCN (IM) has condoled the untimely demise of Zheheto Aye, leacy of union territory from Vishiyi village, and Talimoa Sema, office assistant-I of the cabinet from Kelingmen village under Ao region, who passed away on January 12 and 13 respectively. A NSCN (IM)’s statement issued by its MIP stated that they both have served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise. It added that the void created by their demise would be felt deeply adding their names would be recorded in the pages of Naga history for their selfless contribution to the Naga national cause. NSCN (IM) further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members of Zheheto Aye and Talimoa Semsa and prayed to the Almighty God to grant them strength and comfort to bear with the loss.
