DIMAPUR — NSCN (IM) has condoled the untimely demise of its Steering Committee executive member, Vitoshe Achumi from union territory (UT), who passed away on January 14.
A statement issued by the NSCN (IM) through its MIP has also condoled the demise of other members namely Capt. (retired) M Khamkhui, deputy kilonser of Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR); T Hengba Moses, razou peyu of Maram Thangal Region (MTR); Lieut. Col. (retired) HT Mahesh Anal, tatar of Khurmi Region; and Hiksoul Marchang, deputy kilonser of Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR), who have recently passed away.
NSCN (IM) stated it was indebted for the service rendered by them for the cause of the Naga political issue and for which they have given their best. It added that their sacrificial spirits and dedication for the Naga nation would be recorded in the pages of Naga history.
It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace of the departed souls.
