Dimapur, April 30 (EMN): In pursuance to the directive of Caretaker CAO and considering serious consequences and threats upon the consumers during the pandemic period, NSCN (IM) Union Territory (UT) has banned the sale and supply of all types of ghutkha and pan masala products within its jurisdiction with immediate effect.
Secretary of UT, Ahuka T Yepthomi, has directed all the concerned shops selling those substances to cease the sale and supply of products immediately after publication of this notice until further notice. He also informed that its officials would be authorised to conduct surprise check and also warned that defaulters would be penalised.
The NSCN (IM) also remind all commercial business establishments apart from pharmacies, bakeries and lodging services in Dimapur town to stay close on Sundays.
