Dimapur, Sep. 4 (EMN): Leaders of the NSCN (IM) and the Nagaland Goan Buras Federation (NGBF) held a consultative meeting in connection with the Indo-Naga talks on Friday at Niathu Resort in Dimapur.
A press release from the NSCN (IM) informed that they discussed ‘in great length, issues pertaining to Naga political affairs and the need for all warring groups to come together’.
They also resolved the following: to strengthen the ongoing Indo-Naga peace talk and seek for an honourable, acceptable, early and lasting solution; the cry for reconciliation and unity within the Naga family must be respected. Therefore, the effort to come together all the Naga political groups should be pursued with all seriousness in the larger political interest of the Naga people and her posterity.
The NSCN (IM) team was led by its chairman, Q Tuccu, while Shahlem Konyak led the NGBF team as its president.
