DIMAPUR — The NSCN/GPRN Secretary, Union Territory (UT), has warned hotels and lodges within its jurisdiction not to allow the entry of underage girls, including students in school uniform, saying that young girls have been caught red-handed with “older man” in hotel rooms.

Stating that it is disheartening to see young girls “selling their pride”, while the “Naga society strongly advocates the dignity and honour of women”, it directed all hotels and lodges to check the identity card of girls while checking in and bar the underage and those in school uniform.

“In case of non-compliance, the owners of the hotels and lodges shall be initiated as per Azha of NSCN/GPRN,” read the press release.

Maintaining that it had learned about sex racket operating in some places in Dimapur town areas, which is “unacceptable”, it said the defaulters will be ‘strictly dealt with and heavily penalised’.
