Dimapur, September 23: Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NSCB) has launched Automated Teller Machine (ATM) booth in its head office complex, Khermahal, Dimapur, on September 23.
The ATM at its head office complex is among the row of 11 ATMs being installed at different locations of the State, which was inaugurated by Temjen Toy, Principal Secretary an Finance Commissioner and chairman of NStCB.
Addressing the inaugural function, Temjen Toy expressed contentment on launching the ATM service. He said the bank can not lag behind as a competitive player in the financial market but have to play its role by upgrading its technology with other banks. He informed that more technological improvement are on the anvil in order to meet the cliental needs and aspirations.
Imtilemba Longkumer, Managing Director, while welcoming the chairman, Board of Directors, customers of the bank and public informed that cards of all other banks will be accepted in ATMs of NStCB. He, therefore, appealed the public to utilize the service being offered by the bank.
The programme was held in the presence of Secretary of Cooperation, Lithrongla G Chishi; Registrar of Cooperative Societies Velasa Nakro; general manager (IOC) NABARD RO Nagaland Asoke Chakraborty; vice chairman of the bank K Lea; and all Board of Directors.
Rev. Dr. Shiwoto Assumi, senior pastor NCRC (Sumi), Purana Bazaar, Dimapur, pronounced the invocation.
