NSA bags 3rd place in 5th East Zone Softball Championship

EMN DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 15   The Nagaland Softball Association (NSA) took part in the 5th East Zone Softball Championship 2013 at Jharsuguda Odisha from September 27 top 29. Altogether, nine states took part in the championship, wherein the State team emerged as the 3rd place in the championship. The State team was led by T Alem Aier as Team coach, Sashimenla Aier as team manager and Aosashi Lkr as team captain. The NSA, in a release issued by its general secretary T Alem Aier, has expressed its gratefulness to the department of Youth Resources & Sports for the grand in aid, and the president NSA Temjen Toy for the financial assistance. It further said that through the financial support, the association is providing free coaching to interested players at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur allround the year. Further informing that NSA would be participating at the Senior National Softball Championship to be held at West Bengal from December 25 to 30, it has asked all senior players who are interested to take part at the championship to contact Aosashi, Rakesh and Meren for necessary details.
