Dimapur, April 25 (EMN): The Nagaland Public Rights Awareness and Action Forum has stated that its “panel of expert committee” were well conversant on MGNREGA and other flagships schemes implementation.
This was in response to the state’s Rural Development department’s contention that MGNREGA fund were yet to be dispersed to villagers because not all beneficiaries have bank accounts. According to the forum, the order to freeze bank accounts “was clear” and the department’s clarification “was just a face-saving act.”
