NPP Nagaland inducts Kohima, Warumong unit officials

NPP Nagaland inducts officials of Kohima district

Dimapur, Sep. 18 (EMN): As part of the 11th leg of district tour, officials of the National People’s Party (NPP) held a consultative meeting-cum-induction of the new members of NPP Kohima district at Hotel Ura near Red Cross Building, Kohima, on September 15.

An update from NPP Nagaland stated that Kohima unit would be led by Dr. Keviseto Kintso as convenor, Dr. Moalong Longchar as district advisor, Dr. Ketholezo Sorünuo as vice president, Dr. Ketoulelhou Vizo as general secretary (Org), Losii Khekho as general secretary (Admin), Meshenlo Kath as general secretary (media & IPR), Kavi I Chishi as general secretary (Pol. Affairs), Chenchulo Kath as general secretary, Avituo Zhünyü as treasurer, Petekhrielie Peter Mere as spokesperson, and Mohan Deori as convenor of district minority cell.

In his address, the state president, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, expressed happiness on the proactive role played by the party workers of Kohima in enrolling new active as well as primary members. He informed that NPP is gaining momentum as many like-minded people as well as intending candidates have sought for the party’s ticket.

The other speakers during the meeting included Deo Nukhu, former minister and senior state advisor; Lima Longchar, state advisor-cum-convenor of Mokokchung district; Dr. Keviseto Kintso, convenor of Kohima district; and William Kelengoto Soleho, NPYF president of Kohima district.

In another programme, NPP Nagaland successfully installed the Warumong unit of the party under 29 Jangpetkong assembly constituency in Mokokchung district on September 16. The Warumong unit would be led by Imkongsashi as president along with other office bearers.
