It also lamented thatAos and Nagas in general have lost the most senior father of Naga nation, someone who had immense knowledge of Naga political history and vision for the future of Nagas.

MIP Kilonser, N. Mar Ao said late Aier joined the service of Naga National movement in 1963 and after a short break he continued his higher education. After his graduation he did not gave up his passion for the common cause of Nagas and served the nation in various categories as the most experienced and veteran national worker. He was elected as the president of NPGN/NNC (N/A) and shouldered the responsibility until his last breath, said the Kilonser.
MIP described late Aier as a man of prayer and a great evangelist, humble, faithful, honest leader, committed and visionary patriot who had sacrificed his entire life for the Nagas. Despite his position he was.
