Naga People’s Front Wokha Division holds oath-taking ceremony; President L Meribemo Kinghen calls for unity and support for party leadership.

DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Wokha Division, along with the search committee, organised an oath-taking programme on December 6 at its divisional party office, Likya Colony, Wokha town.
President of NPF Wokha Division, L Meribemo Kinghen, during his presidential address, called on the party workers to be united as one, keeping the team spirit.
According to an update, he thanked the search committee and the party legislators of the district for selecting him to shoulder the responsibility of taking the party forward in the division. He assured that he would discharge his duties under the directives of the high party officials, legislators and under the party constitution.
General Secretary (COB) and co-convenor of the search committee, Mhonthung Patton, in his welcome note, congratulated the newly appointed office bearers and urged all to be loyal and adhere to the NPF principles.

The NPF Wokha Division reaffirmed its fullest support to the leadership of Chief Minister and party president Neiphiu Rio and pledged unwavering dedication to the party’s vision.
The division also supported the long-term agenda of the NPF for the early Indo-Naga political solution and appealed to all Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) to unite under one single umbrella for the inclusive, acceptable and early resolution of the peace process.
The oath-taking was led by John Ezung, vice president COB and convener of the search committee.
