NPF of Northern Angami-I launches poll campaign

The NPF’s intending candidate from 10-Northern Angami-I assembly constituency, Khriehu Liezietsu speaking at the launch of his campaign in Kohima on Jan. 26.

Dimapur, Jan. 27 (EMN):
Naga People’s Front (NPF) under 10 Northern Angami-I assembly constituency has kick started campaigning for its intending candidate Khriehu Liezietsu at Ruleizou on January 26 for the ensuing state assembly election.

Keduolhoutuo Rutsa, president NPF 10 Northern Angami 1AC, chaired the meeting, while Ruokuozhalie Khruomo, president of farmers’ wing, invoked God’s blessing on the intending candidate, party functionaries and the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Khriehu Liezietsu thanked the electorates of 10 Northern Angami- 1 AC for electing him in 2013. Stating that he had placed many initiatives and projects for the consideration of the state government, he wished that he would be given another opportunity in order to translate them in reality.

In order to materialise his vision, Khriehu has appealed to the people of his constituency in particular and the Nagas in general to vote him back to power.

Keneizhakho Nibu Nakhro and Dr. Tseilhoutuo, the intending candidates from 8 Western Angami AC and 9 Kohima Town AC, have also spoke at the meeting.

The programme ended with the vote of thanks pronounced by Aviu Suokhrie, NPF youth wing president of 10 Northern Angami 1 AC.
