NPF Mokokchung thanks supporters

Dimapur, May 29 (EMN): Mokokchung division of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has thanked the electorates of Nagaland especially the people of Mokokchung for supporting and voting in favour of NPF backed secular Congress candidate KL Chishi and Alem Jongshi in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election and 26 Aonglenden by-election to the Nagaland legislative assembly. President of Mokokchung division, Moasangba Jamir, stated that it was due to the efforts and support of each and every NPF party rank and file and all the party’s leaders that the opposing side had a tough marginal win. He has particularly thanked the sitting NPF MLAs under the leadership of Imkong L Imchen and NPF Mokokchung district in-charge and 2018 NPF official candidate. NPF also thanked the ward authorities and village councils for their efforts in maintaining a peaceful conduct of the election. Further, the party have congratulated the newly elected MP Tokheho Yepthomi and MLA Sharingain for winning the lone parliamentary seat and assembly by-election of the state respectively and wished them the best “in carrying out the aspirations of the Naga people at the centre and the state.
