NPF legislators hold prayer meet

Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): NPF legislature party comprising 36 NPF and 7 Independent legislators today held a prayer meeting at Kohima at 10 a.m. The programme commenced with Dr. Nicky Kire invoking God’s blessings, while Deo Nukhu read out passages from the Holy Bible. The welcome address was delivered by TR Zeliang, while the devotion hour was led by State Chaplin, Kuzierang Thou, who inspired the gathering with the words of God. ‘As Christians, our relationship with the living God must be firm,’ he said and urged the legislators to refer Philippians 4:8 which says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.’’ The programme ended with a mass prayer.
