Dimapur, August 2 (EMN): The 28 Koridang Assembly Constituency has acknowledged the leadership of Imkong L Imchen and endorsed his various decisions taken during the recent political development and further empowered him to take any decision that might be required in future in the larger interest of the Nagas in general and the people of 28 Koridang AC in particular.
The decision to this effect was taken in a general meeting of the NPF 28 Koridang Assembly Constituency in the residence of its treasurer.The house has congratulated TR Zeliang on his ascension as the chief minister for the second time and thanked him for inducting lmkong L lmchen into his cabinet. It, however, expressed displeasure that out of 8 NPF MLAs and 2 Independent MLAs, who have supported the present movement, the chief minister inducted only one minister in the cabinet berth. In this regard, the party urged upon the chief minister to address this issue at the earliest.
It also congratulated Neiphiu Rio for accepting the position as NPF interim president and expressed confidence that under dynamic leadership, the party will win over the trust and confidence of the people of Nagaland and repose their mandate again during 2018 general assembly election.
