KOHIMA — The Naga People's Front (NPF) Central Youth Wing on Monday organised a motivational talk from Biblical perspectives at NPF Central Headquarters, Kohima, with missionary Rev. Apostle Luoliehu Yimsung delivering a message on 'Biblical foundation for ethical political leadership'.
Yimsung, a missionary from Nagaland in Singapore, Australia and Oceania nations, challenged political workers to pray and seek God's wisdom, and be motivated to be the change.
To be a kingdom leader, one has to be a worshipper of God, he said and advised them to take their position seriously while stating that God has anointed them to be leaders of the people.
He noted that without sacrifice there is no leadership and encouraged political leaders to spend time and money with the members.
The reverend further stressed on four levels of leadership— wonderers, followers, achievers and leaders.
Süpoyi Vezhü, president NPF Central Youth Wing said the gathering is a reflection of shared commitment, collective vision and unwavering dedication to the people they serve.
He said politics is not merely about power. It is about purpose and about standing firm during difficulties, speaking up when others remain silent and working tirelessly when no one is watching. The true strength of a political party lies not in its slogans but in its commitment to serve.

Every great movement in history started with a small group of determined individuals who believed they could make a difference.
What made them successful was not resources or influences but unity, discipline and vision.
He urged the members to remember that the people are not just voters, but their responsibility.
Leadership, he said, was not merely about winning elections but about improving lives. In the face of challenges, Vezhü told the party members to remain grounded in their values, build trust, and support one another.
He said that party members should work not for personal gain, but for collective growth and for the betterment of society. He added that the future belonged to those who worked with integrity, led with courage, and served with humility.
He further urged them to step forward with confidence and honesty, and to act with responsibility.
Nüzota Swüro, senior vice president, COB in-charge of NPF Central Youth Wing, urged members to stay connected to the people at the grassroots level and understand the community.
He also emphasised the importance of political mentoring, and taking advice from veterans, senior leaders and elders.
The youth must have a global outlook and adapt to new changes. Youth can play a vital role by bringing fresh political perspectives and technological innovations to the affairs of the state government, he added.
Imkongmar, legislature in-charge of Central Youth Wing, noted that leadership is often misunderstood as power, position and recognition.
But true leadership is earned through service, sacrifice and integrity, he said.
It begins where comfort ends, he said, adding that the courage to stand up when it is easier to sit down, to speak when silence is convenient, and to act when others hesitate is true leadership.
He told members to remember three principles of leadership, which include servant leadership, integrity, and vision.
He further encouraged the young political workers to understand their responsibilities as a leader and perform their duties with the best of their ability and through God's wisdom.
