NPF central youth appeals Guv to summon assembly session

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he NPF central youth wing, Nagaland has appealed the Governor of Nagaland to summon a special assembly session as recommended by the council of ministers to clear the present imbroglio and allow T.R. Zeliang to seek a trust vote on the floor of the house.
As the people of the State cannot be kept under suspense any longer, the NPF central youth wing has full confident that the Governor will act according to laid down rules and will not bow down under to the pressure of dissident group, said a release issued by NPF Youth Wing president N Vihoshe Swu and working president Bendangtoshi Longchar.The NPF Central Youth Wing in the release further accused the dissident group stating that “It is a total mockery to claim that T.R. Zeliang leadership has become a minority without proving on the floor of the house.”
“The only reason why the dissidents are persuading the Governor not to convene a special assembly session is that they are scared for the floor test knowing that they will not win the motion,” it said further expressing its hope and faith that the Governor will convene the session as recommended by the cabinet and requested by the Chief Minister without further delay in order to help resolve the present political impasse.
The NPF Central Youth Wing also urged the MLA Imkong L. Imchen, the so called spokesperson of the dissident group, to stop issuing unnecessary directive to the government servants as they are not fools and that they will not pay any heed to the unwarranted direction of some rogue elements who have all lost their senses for lust of power.
“Rather the government servants are more actively serving the people of the State under the leadership of Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang,” the youth wing body said adding that the dissident group has been writing all kinds of baseless allegations and spreading unfounded rumors just to confuse the people.
The NPF central youth wing has also clarified once and for all that there is only one NPF party lead by the NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and there is no other NPF as claimed by the dissident group.
