DIMAPUR —President of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Apong Pongener, has appealed to all the rank and file of party workers and well-wishers to strengthen the resolution of the NPF central working committee passed in its meeting on March 11 to support Dr. Chumben Murry, PDA consensus candidate, in the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha election from the lone Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency.
“Earlier in the early part of 2023, the NPF has submitted a letter of support to the PDA government in order to strengthen the ongoing Indo-Naga peace process. Accordingly, the NPF Central Working Committee has unanimously resolved to support the PDA consensus candidate in response to the official letter received from the president of the NDPP requesting the support of NPF party in the ensuing parliamentary election,” Pongener said.
In this regard, he earnestly appealed to all the rank and file of NPF party workers and well-wishers in Nagaland to unequivocally support Dr. Chumben Murry, the PDA consensus candidate in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, scheduled to be held on April 19 for common good and betterment of Naga society in the long run.
