DIMAPUR — Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has announced that it will hold a public rally under the slogan ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ on August 27 at IMC Hall, Supply Colony, Dimapur.
A press statement from the party on Monday informed the rally is scheduled to begin at 10 am with the objective of raising awareness about what it described as “ongoing assaults on citizens’ electoral rights.”
It stated that the event would also call for accountability from those responsible for ensuring the neutrality and sanctity of the country’s electoral process.

“Democracy thrives when citizens actively participate and raise their voices against injustice and corruption,” the NPCC said, while extending an invitation to people of Nagaland across party affiliations, age groups and backgrounds to attend the rally.
The NPCC added that public participation would strengthen the call for transparency and fairness in the electoral process, noting that, “Every vote counts. Every voice matters. Together, let us defend democracy and uphold the rights of the people.”
