Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has said that Bihar election result has demonstrated the ‘inner mind and prayer’ of the nation and asked the State BJP leaders to break their silence on intolerance and minority bashing.
Congratulating the people of Bihar for giving a ‘befitting reply’ to the ‘communal’ politics of BJP-RSS by routing them and reposing faith in the Grand Alliance of JD (U), RJD and Congress, NPCC said, voters of Bihar have sent a strong message to the nation and the world by defeating the ‘communal forces’ of BJP-RSS despite high voltage campaign by Prime Minister Modi and BJP president Amit Shah.
A statement Issued by Media Cell, NPCC said, “BJP in Nagaland desperately justifying their existence by arguing that it does not mix with any religious body and its mission purely political is akin to a murderer pleading innocence despite getting caught red handed while committing the act. Nagas are not fools to be easily taken for a ride as RSS apologists mistakenly believe.”
Despite intolerance becoming the order of the day and ‘cow’ politics, the new benchmark of nationalism, state BJP leaders are still in a denial mood. Human life particularly those of religious minorities and oppressed castes like the Dalits and Adivasis have no value in the new order that is being dictated by the RSS from Nagpur. Rather than bark around needlessly to please their communal masters, state BJP leaders should break their silence on intolerance and minority bashing unless they are not aware of what’s happening across the nation.Accusing Congress of unnecessarily connecting Nagaland BJP with RSS has no substance since RSS is the ideological mentor of the BJP and the two (RSS-BJP) are one. By joining the political wing of the RSS (BJP), they have accepted the communal and divisive ideology of the RSS since there cannot be an exception for Nagaland BJP. Instead of barking back at the Congress for pointing out their true existence, we suggest that the members of Nagaland BJP pay a visit to their ideological headquarters at Nagpur and get to see as to where they stand in the social hierarchy of the RSS.
“On BJPs claim that many Congress workers have joined their communal bandwagon, we know that some disgruntled cCngress workers have strayed away to hitch a ride with them, but realizing that it has no political destination for the Nagas, they are repenting and are looking forward to join back to where they truly belong. The state BJP managed by political wanderers without any roots can never be an inspiration to others joining its fold.”
