Nothing Phone (1) with Snapdragon 778G+ officially launched in India
Smartphone maker Nothing on Tuesday launched its much anticipated Nothing Phone (1) worldwide and the smartphone is targeted in the midrange segment in India with a price tag of INR 32,999.
The new Nothing Phone (1) is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset and features a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging, 15W wireless charging as well as 5W reverse wireless charging. The company claims that the device is capable of achieving a full charge in 70 minutes in wired mode and full charge in 120 minutes in wireless mode.

The Nothing Phone (1) comes with a 6.55-inch 1080×2400 OLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 120Hz screen refresh rate. The screen can also reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
In the camera department, the phone comes with a dual-camera setup which includes a 50 MP f/1.88 Sony IMX766 1/1.56″ main sensor with OIS and a 50 MP f/2.2 Samsung JN1 1/2.76″ ultrawide sensor. There is a 16 MP Sony IMX471 shooter in the front for selfie duties.
In terms of design, the Nothing Phone (1) is arguably the one of the best looking android phones for 2022. The device comes with a recycled aluminum frame and features a transparent back with “Glyph interface” LEDs that offers unique light patterns for signalling different notifications including call, message and charging and also acts as a flashight.
Other notable features of the device include IP53 splash resistance, stock android experience, no bloatware, an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock support. For cryptocurrency enthusiasts, the Nothing Phone (1) will have a widget built-in on its home screen that can display NFTs.
The Nothing Phone (1) will be available for pre-order on Flipkart for 8GB/128GB (Rs 32,999), 8GB/256GB (Rs 35,999) and the 12GB/256GB (Rs 38,999). The device will go on sale from 7 pm on July 21.
