P. Khel Eagles enter quarters

Kohima, Nov. 3 (EMN): P. Khel Eagles beat T Khel Knights by 24 runs in the last league match and entered the quarterfinal as the Group C winner of the ongoing 5th edition of the 10-Northern Angami-I T20 Bash organised by Brotherhood Group at the Kohima village ground, Ziekezou on Saturday.
In the match, P Khel Eagles elected to bat first and scored a challenging target of 152 runs losing five wickets in 20 overs. Khrietizo (49 not out) and Khrietuo (42) contributed the highest runs for Eagles while Nagaho claimed two wickets in four overs for Knights.
Chasing 153 runs, Thinuokuolie took three wickets in 1.5 overs for Eagles as T Khel Knights were all bowled out for 128 runs in 19.5 overs. Keviselhou (29) and Imli (28) were the highest contributors for Eagles. Khrietuo of P. Khel with 42 runs and one wicket was declared man of the match.
While in the second match, Zienuobadze High Flyers got a walkover and was awarded three points as Upper L Khel Riders failed to turn up with full players. However, T Khel Knights entered the quarters as runner-up in Group C on the better run rate with two wins and a defeat in the league matches.
