“It is crucial for the club to participate in high-level tournaments like the Governor’s Gold Cup, which will feature top teams from our country as well as teams from Nepal, Bhutan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This provides our players the opportunity to play quality matches against strong opponents,” Moosa said.
“Our primary objective is to give our young players more experience in competitive matches, and tournaments like the Governor’s Gold Cup are essential for that. At this level, it’s not just about winning; it’s about preparing players for the future. Facing this level of competition will aid in their development both individually and as a team,” he added.
