Kohima, Aug. 1 (EMN): Motorcycle riders from Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland paid rich tributes to Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) founding member KK Paul Rutsa, who passed away on July 16 last. Adventure sports enthusiasts chose to pay homage to late Rutsa, who was a pioneering figure in the state’s adventure sports arena, by organising an event on Wednesday under the banner ‘A Celebration of Life’ in commemoration of his 39th birthday which falls on August 1. Family friend Pheluopfhelie Kesiezie and Peter Rutsa, elder brother of Paul Rutsa spoke at the service. In recognition of the legacy left behind by late Rutsa in the diary of the NAC, the NAC has inducted his son Thezakhrielie Levi Rutsa as a lifetime member of the association. Later, the riders proceeded to Camp Chatsa for another memorial programme which was flagged off by Thezakhrielie Levi.
