North East Games 2024: Manipur overtakes Nagaland in medal tally on day 4

DIMAPUR — The ongoing 3rd North East Games 2024 witnessed an electrifying turn of events on Day 4 as Manipur surged ahead of the host Nagaland in the medal tally, after latter topped the chart for three consecutive days.

Manipur athletes put up an impressive show on fourth day to set the stage for a nail-biting finale on Saturday. The state is currently leading the medal tally with 78 medals, comprising 32 gold, 22 silver and 24 bronze, while Nagaland remain to be formidable contender with 81, consisting 31 gold, 22 silver and 28 bronze.

Assam is also not far behind with 94 medals, including 29 gold, 33 silver and 32 bronze, updated Nagaland Olympic Association on Friday.
