- DIMAPUR — Norman
Putsure College (NPC) held a workshop with Honey Twigs at the college premises
on Saturday.
- An update from the college stated that the spokesperson of
the company, Jigar Mehta, has highlighted the essence of the company as well as
the various working experience he had from India and England.
- He mentioned about what instigated him into starting the
company, which all begun during his masters course when he wrote his
dissertation. He stated that an entrepreneur looks at the problems in the
market and creates an opportunity through finding solutions and generating a
market.
- It mentioned that Honey Twigs is not just national based but
also exports internationally. The company was initiated with a focus on
changing the way honey is used.

- He informed that Honey Twigs innovatively created for easy
consumption of honey through eco friendly and reusable plastic twig. He also
enlightened the truth about how honey is one of the most adulterated food
products in the market for which the company is working in producing quality
honey in the market.
- He also addressed the issue of antibiotics present in daily
food, whereas for Honey Twigs, their honey is tried and tested, free from
antibiotics. He also informed that Honey Twigs uses reusable plastics. The
company also has various flavours of honey like, lemon, cinnamon, vanilla,
ginger and turmeric.
- He added that the company not only focuses on quality
assurance but also sustainability by acquiring 60% and leaving 40% for the
bees.
- Mehta also enlightened the market scenario and the
importance of catering to the consumers needs by delivering products in a
stipulated time, use of UPI and providing best service to the customers.
- The spokesperson concluded by showcasing a clip from the

Honey Twigs participated. According to him, it was a validation and also a
platform to reach out to a larger group of consumers.

session, where students poured their queries about the company and issues
relating to entrepreneurial ideas.
