Noklak upsets with poor govt. school performance
Dimapur, May 8 (EMN): Peeved with the poor performance of Government High School, Noklak, in the recently concluded HSLC examination, Noklak Sub-division Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) encouraged all concerned members to put up their joint efforts in improving the government schools.
The issue was brought up for discussion during the monthly meeting of Noklak SDPDB held on May 8 at DB’s court under the chairmanship of its vice chairman and ADC Noklak, Neilezo Tep.
The meeting began with introduction of new members namely EAC Panso Thumben Tsanglao, and BDO Panso C Ebou. The house also suggested for early posting of CDPO, JE Power Noklak and establishment of college at Noklak headquarters.
Grant-in-aid for two Christian schools at Peshu village and Baptist School Thonoknyu town were approved and forwarded to the concerned department for necessary consideration.
Department of PHE Noklak presented the departmental activities. The chairman informed that the next meeting would be held at integrated AYUSH Hospital Noklak. Department of agriculture and soil have been entrusted to present their activities in the next meeting.
