Noklak District Athletics Association announces javelin throw competition

DIMAPUR — The Noklak District Athletics Association (NDAA) has informed that it mark the National Javelin Day along with the rest of the nation by organising a javelin throw competition for U-12, U-14 and U-16, for both boys and girls at Noklak Public Ground on August 7 from 9 am onwards.

An update from the association informed that attractive prizes and participating certificates will be given away at the event.

It is an event organised by the NDAA in collaboration with Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) and Athletics Federation of India (AFI) to commemorate India’s first Olympic gold medal in athletics that was won by Neeraj Chopra at Tokyo Olympics 2020, said the update.
