Noklak DC seeks concerted effort to develop the district

Dimapur, Aug. 4 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Noklak, Hiazu Meru, has sought for team spirit from different departments and work in unison in order to usher in development and to be on par with other districts of the state.

Meru stated this during a meeting with the government departments held in his office on August 3 to prepare for the upcoming Independence Day celebration.

He requested all the departmental officers and staff to co-ordinate with each other in order to make the celebration a success.

Meanwhile, the Noklak district task force on Covid-19 also held a meeting on the day under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner.

The DC explained in detail about the latest SOPs and guidelines of Unlock-4 phase of Covid-19. He also emphasised on wearing masks, and maintaining Covid-appropriate behaviours, vaccination and awareness of the pandemic.

He further encouraged the task force members to continue their efforts in order to contain the spread of the disease in the district.

The district task force members also reviewed and discussed the preparedness on Covid-19 and resolved to continue intensifying the awareness campaign on Covid-19 in the district.
