Nokdenlemba open volleyball tournament from October 9
DIMAPUR — The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) has announced to host the 5th Padmashree W Nokdenlemba Open Volleyball Tournament from October 9 to the 11th at Imkongmeren Multi-sports Complex in Mokokchung.
A press release on Monday informed that the tournament will be open exclusively to Naga indigenous inhabitants. “A total prize pool of INR 2,40,000 is up for grabs, with the winners receiving INR 1,00,000. The runners-up will take home INR 50,000, while the two semi-finalists will be awarded INR 20,000 each,” it informed.
Individual awards will be presented to the Best Setter, Best Spiker, and Best Libero, each receiving inr 10,000. Special recognition will also be given to the Player of the Tournament and the Emerging Player of the Tournament, with both receiving INR 10,000 each.
Registration for the tournament is priced at INR 5,000 per team. Accommodations will be provided for players coming from outside Mokokchung district.
