Metsubo Jamir says no 15th Finance Commission schemes were taken up; Yanthungo Patton assures SDO posting in Changtongya.

KOHIMA — Minister of Rural Development Metsubo Jamir stated that the RD department has received funds under the 15th Finance Commission but that no schemes were taken up under the 15th FC during 2023-24 and 2024-25.
The minister was replying to a starred question raised by MLA Naiba Konyak in the ongoing assembly session on Tuesday.
Jamir also replied that the department has not constructed marketing sheds under the 15th FC.

Patton assures early posting of SDO (C) in Changtongya
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Home, Yanthungo Patton, informed that the Personnel and Administrative Reforms department is in the process of posting a new SDO (C) in Changtongya sub-division under Mokokchung district.

The deputy SM was replying to a starred question by MLA Nuklutoshi on the reason why the sub-division has been functioning without an administrative officer for the past eight months despite several requests to the concerned department.
Patton assured that an administrative officer will be posted at the earliest.
