No new Covid case detected in Nagaland; four patients recover

Dimapur, Feb. 26 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid-19 tally remained unchanged at 12198 with no fresh Covid-19 positive case recorded on Friday.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed through an update on Twitter that no new Covid-19 positive case was detected on Friday, while four patients – three in Kohima and one in Dimapur – recovered.

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 9 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 8 are asymptomatic and one mild. The state has also recorded 11946 recoveries and 91 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima has eight cases and one in Dimapur, while the rest of the districts are Covid-free.
